Our Commitment
Every song we create is a unique, one-of-a-kind piece of music crafted from the personal details and stories you share with us. Because each song is custom-made specifically for you, our refund policy differs from standard retail return policies.
Revisions — Our First Priority
If your song isn't quite right, we want to fix it before we talk about refunds.
One free revision is included with every order. You must request your revision within 72 hours of receiving your completed song. Free revisions cover name corrections, minor lyrical adjustments, tempo changes, and other modifications consistent with your original order. Revisions that require a fundamentally different song (different genre, completely new story, different recipient) are not covered under the free revision and may incur additional fees.
When Refunds Are Available
We will issue a full refund if:
We fail to deliver your song within our stated delivery timeframe and you no longer need the song (e.g., the occasion has passed). We are unable to create your song for any reason on our end (technical failure, inability to fulfill the request).
We will issue a partial refund (50%) if:
You cancel your order before production begins. Once song creation has started, this option is no longer available. Production typically begins within 24 hours of order placement.
When Refunds Are NOT Available
We cannot offer refunds in the following situations:
- You don't like the style, sound, or creative direction of a song that was created according to the information you provided. (This is what revisions are for — please use your free revision first.)
- The information you provided was incorrect or incomplete, resulting in a song that doesn't match your expectations. Please double-check all names, dates, and details before submitting your order.
- You change your mind after the song has been created.
- The song has already been published to streaming platforms. Once published, songs cannot be retracted from all platforms.
- Disputes over intellectual property or royalties. As stated in our Terms of Service, all songs are owned by Aurelian Records and all streaming royalties belong to Aurelian Records. This is agreed upon at the time of purchase.
How to Request a Revision or Refund
Email us at [email protected] within 72 hours of receiving your song. Include your order number and a clear description of the issue. For revisions, tell us specifically what you'd like changed. The more specific you are, the better we can adjust the song to your vision. For refunds, explain the circumstances. We review each request individually and will respond within 48 hours.
Processing
Approved refunds will be processed to your original payment method within 5-10 business days. Revisions are typically completed within 3-5 business days of your request.
